The Fabric
The fabric
Most boxers feel fine for a month.
Ours are built for the year after that. Three decisions do the work: the yarn we spin, the front panel we refuse to seam, and a waistband that is woven instead of printed on elastic.
Decision one · the yarn
36/1 combed cotton, not 20/1
Yarn count is the number nobody prints on the label, and it is the one that decides how a pair looks at month twelve.
20/1
Thicker, loosely spun, cheaper to knit. Short fibres work their way to the surface with every wash, so the fabric goes fuzzy, then thin, then see-through at the seat.
36/1
Finer and more tightly spun from combed cotton — the short fibres are combed out before spinning. The surface stays smooth, the colour stays deep, and the knit keeps its hand.
Combing removes roughly fifteen per cent of the raw cotton before it is ever spun. That waste is exactly why most brands skip it, and exactly why these do not pill.
Decision two · the front
A front panel knitted in one piece
No seam down the middle. No fly opening. The panel is knitted as a single piece and shaped on the machine rather than cut and sewn together.
A seam there is a ridge of doubled fabric and thread sitting exactly where you least want one. It is the thing you stop noticing only because you have never worn the alternative.
- Nothing to press, rub or bunch
- No stitch line to unravel after the fiftieth wash
- Shape holds because the knit holds it, not the stitching
Decision three · the waistband
Woven, wide, and printed — not embossed
The band is woven on its own loom, wide enough to spread the pressure, and the logo is printed into the weave rather than stamped in relief.
Embossed logos are raised rubber. They stiffen, they crack, and they leave a mark on the skin by the afternoon. A woven band stays flat, does not roll down through the day, and does not curl after washing.

It breathes
The knit is fine and dense but open. It moves air instead of trapping it, which is why it works through a summer commute and under a suit.

It arrives as a box
Six colours, or twelve pairs. One size, chosen by you. You stop thinking about underwear for a year.

The colour holds
Deep shades on combed cotton keep their depth. Washed cold with like colours, the coral and mustard still read as coral and mustard a year in.

Skip the softener. It leaves a coating on the fibre that takes the breathability straight out of combed cotton. That one habit is what decides how these feel at year two — more than anything else on this page.
See it, feel it, then decide.
